We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you contact us, book treatments, complete consultation forms, purchase gift cards, enquire about or enrol in training, or use our website.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • Your name, date of birth, contact details and address.
  • Booking details, service preferences, enquiries and correspondence.
  • Relevant health information, including allergies, medications, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, skin concerns, previous treatments and reactions.
  • Consultation notes, treatment records and consent records.
  • Before-and-after photographs taken with your permission.
  • Course enquiries, enrolment details and training records.
  • Order, gift card, billing and transaction information.
  • Technical information associated with website use, such as IP address, browser information and cookies.

Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry, booking, treatment or purchase.

2. How We Collect and Use Information

We generally collect information directly from you through our website, booking system, consultation forms, appointments, email, telephone and messages.

We use this information to manage bookings and purchases, assess treatment suitability, plan and provide services, communicate with you about appointments and aftercare, administer training, maintain records, respond to enquiries and meet applicable legal obligations.

You may make general enquiries anonymously or using a pseudonym where practical. We may need identifying information to provide a treatment, manage a booking, process a purchase or maintain appropriate records. If necessary information is not provided, we may be unable to provide the requested service.

3. Health Information and Consultation Forms

We request health information relevant to your proposed treatment and seek your consent to collect and use it, unless collection or use is otherwise permitted or required by law. We use this information for consultation, treatment planning, safety, aftercare and related record keeping.

We use Jotform to collect online consultation responses. Submitting a consultation form does not give consent for treatment. We review your responses, discuss the proposed treatment and obtain treatment consent separately.

Our consultation email notifications are configured to omit health responses and form attachments. Responses are reviewed through our Jotform account, where login protection and two-factor authentication are enabled.

We do not use your health information for marketing.

4. Photographs and Permission to Publish

With your permission, we may take before-and-after photographs to document treatments and results. Photographs may be stored on our mobile phone and computer and synchronised with Apple iCloud Photos.

Permission to take photographs for your treatment record is separate from permission to publish them. We seek separate permission before using identifiable photographs on our website, social media or promotional materials. Declining promotional use does not affect your access to our services.

You may contact us to withdraw permission for future promotional use. We will stop new promotional use and take reasonable steps to remove photographs from channels we control. We may be unable to retrieve printed material or copies already shared or saved by others. Photographs needed for treatment records may be retained as explained below.

5. Service Providers and Information Sharing

Our website is hosted by GoDaddy and uses WordPress, WooCommerce and Amelia software to support website functions, purchases and bookings.

Other services used in connection with our business include:

  • Jotform for online consultation forms.
  • Apple iCloud for photograph synchronisation and storage.
  • Mailchimp for email subscriptions and marketing communications.
  • Payment services offered at checkout, including Stripe and, where selected and available, Afterpay, Zip or Klarna.
  • Google Fonts and Mapbox for website fonts and map features.

Providers may receive information relevant to delivering their services. Payment providers handle payment details under their own privacy policies and security arrangements. Please do not send card details through consultation forms, email or messages.

Within our business, client records are accessed by the owner/practitioner. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, insurers or authorities where necessary and legally permitted or required, or otherwise with your consent.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

6. Overseas Storage and Processing

Some providers store or process information outside Australia. Our current Jotform account settings identify the United States as the storage location for consultation submissions.

Apple iCloud and our website, payment and communication providers may also process information internationally, including in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Locations depend on the service and may change. We do not represent that all information is stored in Australia.

You can contact us for further information about the providers handling your information and their international processing arrangements.

7. Security and Retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our measures include restricting access to client records and using account security controls. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including applicable record-keeping, legal and insurance requirements. When information is no longer required and retention is not legally necessary, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it. Copies in backups may remain until replaced or deleted through the relevant backup processes.

8. Marketing, Cookies and Website Features

With your consent, we may send marketing communications about our services, courses and offers, including through Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages needed to manage your bookings, purchases or training.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support functions such as shopping carts, sessions, security and preferences. External features may also connect to their providers when loaded. These include Google Fonts, Mapbox maps and Stripe payment features. Such connections may disclose technical information, including your IP address and browser information, to the provider.

Where cookie preference controls are displayed, you can use them to manage optional categories. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies or external features may affect website appearance, maps, checkout or other functions.

Links to external websites and interactions with social media platforms are also subject to those providers’ privacy policies.

9. Access, Correction and Deletion Requests

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may also request deletion of information or withdraw consent for a particular use. We will consider your request in accordance with applicable law and any record-keeping obligations. Deletion is not always possible where information must be retained. Where we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the reason unless legally restricted from doing so.

10. Contact and Privacy Complaints

For privacy enquiries, requests or complaints, please contact:

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services, information-handling practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its last updated date.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEL Cosmetic Tattoo & Beauty | Academy

Business operator: Samiyeh Mousavi
Trading names: DEL Cosmetic Tattoo & Beauty | Academy
ABN: 69 202 056 012

  1. About These Terms

These terms apply to treatment bookings, training enrolments and gift card purchases with our business.

Please read them together with the relevant service description, course enrolment agreement, gift card conditions, Privacy Policy and treatment-specific consent and aftercare information.

Any additional conditions will be provided before you make a booking or purchase. Nothing in these documents excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Only services and courses currently available for booking are offered for sale. An enquiry or expression of interest does not guarantee availability.

  1. Prices & Payment Information

Prices are in Australian dollars. Applicable taxes and unavoidable charges will be disclosed in the total price before payment.

The advertised description or written quotation will identify what is included. Additional treatments, products, removal work, touch-ups or training services require your agreement to any additional cost before proceeding.

Price changes apply to future bookings and purchases. We will not increase the agreed price of an existing confirmed booking without your agreement.

Third-party payment plans are subject to the payment provider’s terms. Those arrangements do not replace your consumer rights against us.

  1. Treatment Bookings & Deposits

A deposit of 25% of the booked treatment price is required to secure a treatment appointment. You may choose to pay in full when booking.

The deposit is credited towards your treatment price. Any remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment.

Your booking is confirmed when the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.

These treatment deposit arrangements do not automatically apply to Academy enrolments, which have their own disclosed payment schedule.

  1. Treatment Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice before your appointment to cancel or reschedule. Contact us using the details below and retain your message or confirmation.

With at least 48 hours’ notice, you may transfer your payment to another appointment or request a refund.

For cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, a cancellation fee may apply. It will reflect our reasonable loss, taking account of costs saved and whether another client fills the appointment. It will not exceed 25% of the booked treatment price.

Any payment above the applicable cancellation fee will be refunded, including where you paid in full.

Please contact us promptly in an emergency or if you are unwell. Exceptional circumstances will be considered individually.

  1. Late Arrivals & Changes Made by Us

If you arrive too late for treatment to be completed safely, we may need to shorten or reschedule the appointment. Changes to the treatment and price will be discussed before proceeding.

Any cancellation fee will follow section 4.

If we cancel your appointment, you may choose a suitable alternative or a full refund of payments made for that appointment. This does not limit any other statutory remedy.

  1. Consultation, Eligibility & Consent

Treatment requires a suitability assessment and informed consent.

Please disclose relevant health conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent procedures, skincare products and existing tattoo pigment. Inform us of changes before later appointments.

We will explain relevant risks, limitations, preparation, expected recovery and aftercare before treatment.

Any required patch or sensitivity test must be completed within the timeframe advised. A satisfactory test cannot guarantee that a reaction will never occur.

Age eligibility depends on the procedure, applicable requirements and our treatment policy. Please contact us before booking for anyone under 18. A parent’s permission does not automatically make every procedure available.

We may postpone or decline an unsuitable or unsafe treatment. If we decline before starting, you may choose a refund for the unperformed treatment or an agreed alternative appointment.

Consent does not waive your statutory rights.

  1. Preparation, Aftercare & Individual Results

Follow the instructions provided for your specific treatment and ask for clarification if necessary.

Results, healing, pigment retention and maintenance needs vary. We do not guarantee an identical result to a photograph or another person’s outcome.

We remain responsible for meeting agreed requirements and applicable consumer guarantees. Individual variation or an aftercare issue does not automatically remove your rights.

You may report concerns at any time. Seek prompt medical advice for suspected infection, a significant allergic reaction or other concerning symptoms. Do not wait for a routine review if you need medical attention.

  1. Cosmetic Tattooing & Healing

Before tattooing, we will discuss the proposed design, placement, colour, existing pigment and expected process. Please raise requested changes before approving the treatment.

Fresh cosmetic tattooing does not show the final healed result. Colour and definition may change as the skin heals.

Please allow at least four weeks before a routine assessment of the healed cosmetic result. This is a minimum review point, not a guarantee of complete healing. Some procedures or individuals require six to eight weeks or longer.

This review timeframe does not prevent you from reporting a concern earlier or exercising your consumer rights.

Further tattooing will only be performed when the skin has healed sufficiently and treatment is suitable and safe.

  1. Cosmetic Tattoo Touch-Ups & Colour Refreshes

Routine refinement appointments are generally planned for six to eight weeks after the initial procedure, subject to treatment type and adequate healing.

Routine touch-ups are charged separately unless explicitly included in your package. The fee, inclusions and any timing conditions will be disclosed before the initial booking.

If healing requires a longer interval, contact us to discuss a suitable date and any applicable pricing before proceeding.

Later colour-refresh appointments are separate from the initial touch-up.

Requests for a new shape, style or colour outside the original agreement will be assessed separately, with any additional charges agreed in advance.

Routine maintenance and elective changes are distinct from corrections we must provide without charge under Australian Consumer Law.

  1. Skin & Facial Treatments

Facials, microneedling, BB Glow, plasma fibroblast and other skin procedures offered by us require their own suitability assessment, consent and aftercare.

Preparation, recovery, review dates and treatment intervals depend on the procedure and your individual response. The cosmetic tattoo healing and touch-up timetable does not automatically apply.

Where multiple sessions or maintenance may be recommended, the proposed plan and costs will be explained before you agree to proceed. A particular outcome or number of sessions is not guaranteed.

  1. Beauty & Personal Care Services

Lash and brow services, makeup, threading, waxing, nails and spray tanning each have specific preparation, maintenance and aftercare requirements.

Tell us about relevant sensitivities, previous reactions, existing extensions or products, and concerns affecting the treatment area.

Inclusions, removal work, maintenance appointments and additional charges will be explained before treatment. Please raise concerns about the proposed look during your appointment where possible. You may still report concerns afterwards.

For massage, we will discuss suitability, comfort and treatment preferences. You may ask for pressure to be adjusted or for treatment to stop at any time.

For teeth whitening, we will discuss suitability, limitations, possible sensitivity and aftercare. A particular shade change is not guaranteed.

  1. Removal & Specialist Procedures

Where available, tattoo removal, scalp pigmentation, areola restoration, camouflage and other specialist procedures require an individual assessment and treatment plan.

Availability is subject to the qualifications, insurance and other requirements applicable to the procedure.

Session numbers, costs, healing intervals and limitations will be explained individually. Complete pigment removal, complete concealment or a particular outcome is not guaranteed.

The standard cosmetic tattoo touch-up schedule does not automatically apply to these procedures.

  1. Changes of Mind, Complaints & Corrections

We do not provide change-of-mind refunds for completed services that meet the agreed description and applicable consumer guarantees.

A later preference for a different appearance does not, by itself, establish a right to a refund. Normal healing changes or maintenance disclosed before booking do not automatically mean a service is faulty.

Every concern will be assessed individually. Contact us with a description and, where helpful, clear photographs. We may offer an in-person review.

Where a minor failure to meet a consumer guarantee can be corrected, we will arrange an appropriate correction without additional charge and within a reasonable time.

Further treatment requires consent and must be safe and suitable. We do not promise unlimited sessions or guaranteed satisfaction through repeated treatment.

If a problem is major, or is not resolved as required by law, other remedies may apply. You are not required to accept repeated corrections instead of a remedy legally available to you.

  1. Academy Enrolment & Course Information

Before payment, students will receive written information about the course content, dates, duration, delivery method, prerequisites, fees, payment schedule, inclusions and completion requirements.

The information will also identify any kit, models, assessments, follow-up support or additional expenses, including whether the student must arrange anything themselves.

An enrolment is confirmed after the entry requirements, required payment and enrolment documentation have been completed and written confirmation issued.

The treatment appointment cancellation policy does not automatically apply to courses.

  1. Nature of Training & Certificates

The Academy at DEL Cosmetic Tattoo & Beauty  provides private skills training. Our private courses are not nationally recognised training and do not lead to an AQF qualification or Statement of Attainment.

A Certificate of Completion records completion of the requirements stated for the private course. It is not a professional licence or a guarantee of insurance eligibility, employment or income.

Students should check the requirements relevant to their intended work, location, insurer and business before enrolling.

Course descriptions will state the practical activities and any assessments required for completion. Further practice may be needed before a student can perform a procedure safely and independently.

  1. Academy Payments, Withdrawals & Transfers

Any course deposit, instalments, balance due date and cancellation or transfer conditions will be supplied in writing before payment. No undisclosed cancellation fee will be imposed afterwards.

If you need to withdraw or change dates, contact us promptly. We will consider the notice provided, training already delivered, materials supplied, recoverable costs, whether the place can be filled and any exceptional circumstances.

Any cancellation charge must be reasonable, explained and consistent with the enrolment agreement and applicable law. Payments will not automatically be forfeited in full.

If no separate cancellation charge was disclosed and agreed before enrolment, we will not introduce one retrospectively.

Any refund assessment will distinguish training already provided, unused training and kits or materials actually supplied. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

  1. Course Changes & Cancellations by the Academy

If we cancel a course before it begins, you may choose a suitable alternative or a full refund of course fees paid.

If a course is interrupted after starting, or a material change affects what was agreed, we will discuss suitable alternatives and applicable refunds or other remedies.

You will not be required to accept a substantially different course instead of a remedy available under Australian Consumer Law.

Please consider cancellation arrangements when booking travel or accommodation. This advice does not exclude any compensation we are legally required to provide.

  1. Training Safety, Models & Materials

Students must follow hygiene, infection-control and supervision instructions. Practical work on models requires appropriate consent and suitability assessment.

Unsafe activities may be stopped. If concerns affect continued participation, we will explain the issue and discuss appropriate next steps. Any financial outcome will be assessed fairly under the enrolment agreement and law.

Course materials are provided for the enrolled student’s learning and permitted professional reference. They must not be copied for resale, redistributed or used to deliver another training course without permission, except where permitted by law.

Recording lessons or photographing other students or models requires permission. Promotional use of identifiable images requires separate consent.

The extent and duration of any post-course support will be stated before enrolment. Unlimited support or free refresher training is not included unless expressly promised in writing.

  1. Gift Cards

Purchased gift cards are valid for at least three years from purchase. The expiry date will be clearly displayed. A longer stated validity period will be honoured.

The purchase description will identify eligible services or courses and any restrictions. DEL Cosmetic Tattoo & Beauty | Academy gift cards may have different eligible uses; please check before purchasing.

A gift card does not guarantee a particular appointment, course date or treatment suitability. Please contact us before purchasing if you require a specific service or date.

For monetary-value cards, the value is applied towards the eligible purchase price. Any difference is payable by the customer. Unused value remains available until expiry.

We do not charge inactivity or account-keeping fees.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable for a change of mind, except where required by law.

Keep the gift card code secure. Contact us promptly if it is lost or misdirected. We will assess replacement requests using proof of purchase and the remaining balance.

Where a cancelled booking paid by gift card qualifies for a return of value, that value will ordinarily be restored to the card, subject to statutory rights. Please contact us if expiry would prevent reasonable use of restored value.

If we cannot supply an eligible purchase, contact us to discuss an appropriate remedy. These conditions do not remove any statutory refund or other entitlement.

  1. Privacy, Health Information & Photographs

We collect information needed to administer bookings, assess suitability, provide services or training and maintain appropriate records.

Our separate Privacy Policy explains collection, use, storage, disclosures, access, correction and privacy complaints. These terms are not a substitute for that policy.

We will explain and seek consent before taking treatment photographs. Consent for treatment records is separate from permission to publish images on our website, social media or advertising.

Marketing communications and promotional images are not a compulsory condition of treatment or enrolment. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications.

  1. Website Use & Future Products

Website content provides general information and does not replace an individual consultation or medical advice.

Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security or reproduce our original content commercially without permission or another lawful basis.

Any future physical products or online courses will have relevant delivery, access, returns and technical information supplied before purchase. These terms do not imply that those products are currently available.

  1. Australian Consumer Law & Dispute Resolution

Our goods and services are subject to applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any non-excludable right, including an entitlement to a refund, correction, compensation or another remedy.

Please contact us first so we can assess a concern and work towards an appropriate resolution. This does not prevent you from contacting Consumer and Business Services South Australia, another relevant authority or seeking independent advice.

  1. Updates to These Terms

Updates apply prospectively from the stated effective date. We will not use a later version to reduce rights attached to an existing booking, enrolment or gift card purchase.

Material changes to an existing agreement require any notice and agreement required by law.
